Audubon CT Bent of the River: Tech Assisted Birding

Whether you are new to birding or a pro, technology can help you identify birds. Join this guided bird hike where we will use the app Merlin by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology to help us identify and learn more about the birds at the Bent. Please download the app to your smartphone before the hike. You don’t need to be tech-savvy, as we will walk through how to use the app.
Themed Monthly Hikes led by Allison Middlemass, the Bent’s Community Conservation Program Coordinator. Binoculars will be provided for folks without their own to borrow for the entirety of the hike. The hike is $15 per person and registration is required. On the morning of the hike, we will meet in the visitor parking lot at 9:30 am and the hike will go till 11:00 am.
