Audubon CT Sharon: Project Feederwatch Meet ‘n Greet

January 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am

$5 – $10

Do you relish watching your bird feeder with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate in hand? If you do, then you’re going to love Project Feederwatch, a community science initiative that mobilizes your love of counting birds for science. Participation is easy, and we’ll show you just what to do. Bring your laptop (or cell phone) and favorite mug for a laid-back tutorial with Naturalist Bethany Sheffer on how to channel your love for feeder birds into invaluable data collection. If you’re new in town, this is a great way to meet neighbors and town residents!

***Note: there is a fee of $22 for non-members of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology ($18 for members) to participate in Project Feederwatch. You will not be required to pay this amount if you attend this program.

Coffee, hot cocoa, and breakfast goodies provided. Participants will be entered into a drawing for a free 20 lb. bag of our best-selling Northwest Corner Blend birdseed! The winner will take it home with them.

Fee: $10/adult, $5/child (ages under 16)
Suitable for ages 8+
