Bent of the River Audubon: Let’s Go Birding Together an LGBTQIA Community Event

June 15 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

$10

Join Bent of the River Audubon Center to celebrate Pride Month. Robin, our Center Manager will lead you on a walk to discover Warblers, Buntings, and more!

We invite the LGBTQIA++ community to join us in celebrating not just the diversity of the birds in the area, but also our people. Let’s Go Birding Together! is a birding walk intentionally welcoming the LGBTQIA++ community and is designed to be a space where people can be themselves without fear of judgment. Let’s Go Birding Together! bird walks are held nationwide during June to build community and create diversity, reflecting the biodiversity in our ecosystems. This event is part of the Let’s Go Birding Together! campaign put on by the National Audubon Society.

Let’s Go Birding Together! walks are for everyone who loves birds and the outdoors. We welcome those who identify as LGBTQIA++, allies, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy an outdoor experience that is inclusive.
