Join leaders Jim Sherwonit and Andy Griswold on a relaxing tour of Monhegan Island at the peak of migration. Off the coast of Maine, Monhegan serves as a stopover point for birds caught out over open water. With no roads or cars on the island, participants stroll along the many trails searching for what arrived overnight and enjoying eye-level looks at many species of warbler, tanagers, and flycatchers. Nature and beauty are at their apex. Stay at a lovely island inn, and don’t miss the great breakfasts!
