CT Audubon Society – Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center: Family Shorebird Walk

Family Shorebird Walk
Spring is a great time to see shorebirds along the CT coast, as many of our migratory species head back north. We’ll look and listen to these charismatic birds and enjoy some of our most beautiful coastal parks. The walk is suitable for ages 5 and up. $10 members; $15 non-members; $5 for children ages 12 and under.
– Walk at Harkness will be approximately 1 mile on level grassy, dirt, and sandy terrain. Exposure to wind, sun, and cold is possible depending on the weather. Portable toilets are on site.
