Litchfield Hills Audubon Society: Swallow Spectacle on the Connecticut River

In the fall, American Tree Swallows preparing to migrate gather by the thousands to swirl in balletic murmurations as dusk falls. See this spectacle by joining us for a sail on the Onrust sailboat. The Onrust is a re-creation of the vessel Dutch explorer Adriaen Block built in 1614.
The boat departs from the dock at the Connecticut River Museum at 5:30 but please arrive at least 30 minutes before. Directions: Put the Griswold Inn in your GPS; when you get to Essex, drive past the inn to the dead end where the museum is located. Cost: $45 per person.
