New Haven Bird Club: Fargeorge Wildlife Preserve

This is a joint trip with Gather New Haven (formerly the New Haven Land Trust).

Quinnipiac Meadows Eugene B. Fargeorge Preserve, a varied habitat with excellent views of the lower Quinnipiac River, is always full of surprises. We have seen everything from Woodcock to Bald Eagles to Snow Geese, lots of fall migrants, wintering ducks, and more. We will be walking on flat surfaces

Turn into the wide driveway at 1040 Quinnipiac Avenue, just south of the railroad overpass. Go through the open gate onto the property and look for our group.
