The beautiful salt marshes of Connecticut are active during early fall migration. Come visit one of the state’s largest salt marshes to observe Palm Warblers, wading birds, shorebirds, migrating sparrows and swallows, Merlins, Northern Harriers, and others. Corrie Folsom-O’Keefe, Director of Bird Conservation for Audubon Connecticut, will also discuss salt marsh ecology and the large marsh restoration project that is in progress at Great Meadows.
Meet in the Refuge parking lot at approximately 600 Long Beach Boulevard, Stratford.
