We received 22 Mini-Grant applications. The eleven successful applications are as follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Place Called Hope<\/td>$320<\/td>Purchase a special scale so that they could weigh the eagles and large raptors, weight being an important indicator of health<\/td><\/tr>
East Granby Land Trust<\/td>$300<\/td>Replant an area of the property known as Griffin Marsh with native plants. This land has been cleared of invasives and is ready for planting<\/td><\/tr>
Marvelwood School<\/td>$709<\/td>Expand their established Purple Martin colony and for additional supplies to continue their existing banding operations<\/td><\/tr>
Connecticut Audubon\u2019s Roger Tory Peterson Center<\/td>$850
<\/td>		24-gourd Purple Martin nesting station at their new facility on the Lieutenant River. This has matching funds<\/td><\/tr>
Helmstead Farm<\/td>$400<\/td>8 bluebird nest boxes<\/td><\/tr>
Friends of Sherwood Island<\/td>$270<\/td>6 bluebird boxes<\/td><\/tr>
The Environmental Learning Center<\/td>$942
<\/td>		A project to map the abundance of Grasshopper Sparrows at Robert\u2019s Field (The Hoppers) in Bristol where habitat of this state listed endangered species is being threatened by invasive plant species. The project will be conducted by DEEP scientists<\/td><\/tr>
