The Connecticut Ornithological Association (COA) is the only statewide organization dedicated specifically to Connecticut’s birds, birders, and birding.
The Connecticut Ornithological Association is the only statewide organization devoted to birds and birding in Connecticut. Since its founding in 1984, its membership has grown to well over 500 people who range from beginning
birders to professional ornithologists. COA does not release its membership list to other organizations. Contributions and donations are tax deductible as allowed under law. COA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization.

To renew your membership online, login to your COA account first.
After purchasing a membership option, your COA account reflects your level of membership. COA members receive copies of COA’s two quarterly publications, The Connecticut Warbler and COA Bulletin. Members also support many COA services and activities.

Payment by US Mail
While we prefer that members purchase new memberships and renewals online (above), especially during the current pandemic, we will continue to accept forms sent by US Mail. Mail will be processed, but on a somewhat irregular basis. Note that new members *must* also create a COA account even if you choose to mail us a check.
